Unexpected Turns

Role: Director
Genre: Romance/Drama
Currently in post-production, U.T is a film about epilepsy and how it affects the people around you.
I am the Director, overseeing the overall creative aspect of the production, actors performances, shot listing, and working with the editor to fully flesh out my vision for the film.
This is also the first time I directed a script that wasn't my own. The challenges here was getting to understand the characters, motives, arcs, etc... and bringing this knowledge to set and to the actors.

Treasure Hunt

Role: Writer, Producer, Co-Director, 1st AD, and 2nd AD
Genre: Drama/Action/Adventure
Currently in post-production, T.H is a film about friendship and its limits.
I am the Writer of Treasure Hunt, going through about 30 different versions of the script before it was accepted by its director.
I am the Producer as well. Focusing on location scouting, casting and overall timeliness of the production.
1st AD, now I wasn't always set on being the 1st AD, it wasn't until the lead actress quit the day before shoot, leading to our original AD to step up. I mainly kept everything on track, and kept crews together when moving sets.
On set I was signed on to be the 2nd AD and script supervise my script for the director.
I eventually became Co-Director due to the lack of confidence from the director. This lead to production halts, forcing me to "sit" on her shoulder and tell her what to do. I directed scene 3 and helped flesh out the actors performances in between takes throughout production. I'm also working with the editor.

TENET Sweded

Role: Director
Genre: Action
TENET Sweded is a UVU related project and the final for my Production 2 class.
I am the Producer of the swede, meaning I had to find locations, cast, set deck and time everything by myself.
As the Director, I focused on the shots being precisely what I was looking for and the overall performance of the actors.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World Sweded

Role: 1st AD
Genre: Action/Comedy
Scott Pilgrim vs the World Swede is one of my Production 2 final projects at UVU.
My job on set was the 1st Assistant Director, meaning I kept everything running smoothly. I sent out call sheets and made sure everything went according to plan.

In The Moment

Genre: Drama
In the Moment is an independent short film where essentially I was everything behind the camera. It was a chance for me to hone in my skills as a filmmaker.
My role on set was Director, where I mainly focused on my talent and their performances.

The Thing In The Tunnel

Role: Director and Writer
Genre: Horror
The Thing in the Tunnel is my first film, inspired by the Conjuring, it follows a group of friends investigating a tunnel and its what they find that haunts them.
I was everything on set, but mainly focused on being the Director. I created shots and encouraged my friends and family to give it their all when performing.

My role here was as the Producer of this documentary.
This was my first "independent" short film, where I had to fully find and locate things for the shoots. I didn't even know the story until I began editing my footage together.
This film has been awarded 2 Honorable Mention Awards and one Best Short Doc.

My first Production 1 assignment at UVU, which weirdly enough got the attention of Black Bear Diner.
My role here was as the Producer, having to come up with an idea, people to fulfill roles and so on.

My role here was as the Director of Photography, where I mainly shot lots of gory and crazy things.
I'm especially proud of the infamous cutting off hand scene.

This short was a submission to the 25 Years of Star Wars Film Festival, put on by Lego.
I was the Photographer behind every frame.
